One comment in particular was worthy of special mention:

“I attended the ‘Dismantling Racism’ seminar at on Saturday (5/10/08) as the last piece I needed to take for my Certified Lay Minister training. I went with some resistance as I do not consider myself racially prejudiced and was not sure how you could drag ‘love thy neighbor as thyself’ out to 5 hours long.

I wish we could have gone on another 5 hours! You brought up thoughts from different perspectives that I had never heard before.  Always the seminars at work start from a "don't go there and don't say that" basis and only treat the outward actions....you made it clear, we were free to talk about anything without fear and you went right to the heart and mind issues that are causing the actions.  I learned a lot and hope to be able to spread some of the concepts as I have opportunity, especially with young people....thanks again.”
